Responsibilities
Educational Software Developer
- Designer of new software interfaces for learning and instruction for students and faculty
- Tester of new software packages for use at the college
- Purchaser of new software packages
- Recommends best use practices for client and server software technology used for instruction at the college
Multimedia Support
- Consults with faculty desiring audio/video needs for instructional purposes
- Assists faculty in instructional multimedia content creation, video recording, audio recording
Blackboard/WebCT LMS Administrator
- Instructs MCC faculty in the use of Blackboard/WebCT/LMS for online instruction
- Assists MCC faculty in the design and maintenance of Blackboard/WebCT/LMS courses
- Recommends best use practices for Blackboard/WebCT/LMS
Software Workshop Instructor
- Prepares instructional materials for faculty-attended workshops on basic to advanced web site creation
- Presents workshops on software for use in instruction and web content creation

- I've been exploring the Adobe content creation suite from its inception, and now in more depth since the release of the the CS3 suite
- Currently administering and implementing Macromedia/Adobe's Breeze software platform on MCC's campus network
