Peggy conducted a workshop on using Respondus software to create quizzes/surveys/self-tests that can be delivered on the internet in a WebCT course.

Faculty logged on to http://webct.mc.maricopa.edu using their MCC username and password. They completed a quiz and self-test from the practice Respondus course at this site.

Then they accessed a course with their name on it that was created using the new version of WebCT (6.0). It is this course that you will want to work on to use for your fall online course delivery.

Directions for how to download Respondus software to your office and/or home computer can be found at http://www.mc.maricopa.edu/other/ctl/_ctl_SD/resources/helpdocs/how_to/index2.html

Directions for creating quiz questions in Respondus can also be found at the same site. However, when you first create the quiz file, you will need to select the "current personality" is selected as WebCT 6 (rather than WebCT 3x-4x).

Directions for uploading the quiz to a WebCT 6.0 course were given on a hand-out.
