How can you make the drill-and-practice parts of your class more interesting and fun without demanding a lot of your time? Online games could be the answer! Using StudyMate software (for which the district has a license), you can quickly and easily make games such as crossword puzzles, hangman (fill in the blank letter), flashcards, simulate the TV show Jeopardy, or create matching activities using vocabulary words that your students need to learn. You can develop online multiple choice quizzes for students to take and check their answers themselves (an option for test review purposes). These resources can be posted online and your students can access them at the time of their choosing. Once you've created these gems, these online games take care of themselves. The student sees whether or not they got the correct answer without you having to grade the activity. See what these tools can do for your students!
