Current Status
CTL Blogcast is supported by the CTL. Primary contact is James Bowles, but several staff members can assist with questions. Wordpress software is freely available from http://wordpress.org The CTL has Blogcast currently running at http://ctl.mc.maricopa.edu/blogcast

Project Staff
- James Bowles developed a custom skin for Wordpress and maintains Blogcast.
- Jeffrey Anderson assisted in the development of Blogcast and assists users.
- Martin Lehner supports Blogcast on the server.
- CTL Staff provide content.
Project Timeline
- Project was initiated in Summer 2006 with a request from Jeffrey Anderson to develop a 'skin' for Wordpress.
- James Bowles adapted the CTL website design to skin the Wordpress install.
- Upon completion of the skinned Wordpress install, Anderson and Bowles installed various plug-ins, including: Podpress, Code Auto Escape, and WP-Polls.
- Bowles developed the wiki to support author maintained articles.
- First Blogcast post on January 8th, 2007.
Project Resources
- Staff time has been required to develop, install, and maintain CTL Blogcast software and server.
- Sever space has been required for CTL Blogcast.
Project Outcomes and Future Directions
After first 4 months of deployment, there are 10 user accounts on Blogcast and 46 posts.
