Project Summary: CTLpedia is an attempt to document and make public the efforts by faculty and staff at Mesa Community College to reflect on and continually improve teaching and learning for their students and our community.

Current Status
CTLpedia is supported by the CTL. Primary contact is James Bowles, but several staff members can assist with questions. Mediawiki software is freely available from http://mediawiki.org The CTL has CTLpedia currently running at http://ctl.mc.maricopa.edu/wiki The documentation for the modifications can be viewed here: CTLpedia_Documentation

Project Staff
- James Bowles developed a skin on top of the Mediawiki default, deemed it 'CTLpedia', and maintains the wiki.
- Jeffrey Anderson assisted in the adoption of Mediawiki for the CTL and assists users in contributing to CTLPedia.
- Martin Lehner installed Mediawiki onto the server.
- Brad Kincaid conducts workshops for faculty on CTLpedia to document their projects.
Project Timeline
- Project was initiated in Summer 2006 with a request from Jeffrey Anderson to develop a 'skin' for Mediawiki.
- James Bowles adapted the CTL website design to skin Mediawiki.
- Originally intended to be an internal database for workshop documentation, CTLpedia quickly developed into a tool for faculty and staff to document projects.
- Bowles developed the wiki to support author maintained articles.
- First CTLpedia workshop offered in January 2007.
- More workshops offered in 2006-7.
- Realizing the potential and the need for a searchable online project documentation database, CTLpedia is additionally being used to document CTL projects.
Project Resources
- Staff time has been required to develop, install, and maintain CTLpedia software and server.
- Staff time has been require to develop and deliver CTLpedia workshops.
- Sever space has been required for CTLpedia.
Project Outcomes and Future Directions
After first month of deployment, there are X user accounts on CTLpedia and Y pages created.
