The FPLC program has a small travel fund. To maximize funding potential, we recommend that travel applications be submitted simultaneously to both the appropriate FPG program and to the FPLC program. Funds may not be dispersed until the end of the year, so we can ensure that funds are not being spent on travel that could have been otherwise funded.

Goals of the Travel Fund

The FPLC Travel Fund exists first to increase opportunities for FPLC members to travel to conferences to present results of their classroom research or scholarship of teaching and learning and second to increase opportunities for FPLC facilitators to improve their facilitation or classroom research skills.

Eligibility for FPLC Travels Funds

  1. All FPLC members who are accepted to present results of any classroom research at regional, national or international conferences.
  2. FPLC facilitators who are traveling to receive training or exerience in facilitation or classroom research skills.
  3. FPLC members or facilitators must have applied and been denied FPG funding for the travel in question.
