Layout Modifications
To customize the layout of Firefox go to View > Toolbars > Customize. You may then proceed to simply drag and drop layout elements around the page. There are two things to consider:
- Screen Real Estate
- Utility Access
General Preferences and Features
Bookmarks
- Starring
- Tagging
Private Browsing
Tools > Start Private Browsing
Caching
Firefox caches each page you visit in order to speed up the browsing experience. Instead of having to re-download a page each time you visit it, Firefox simply finds the page in its downloaded cache and loads it from your local computer. This can be problematic specifically when a page has fresh content. To remedy this problem simply hold Shift while pressing the reload button to force Firefox to re-download the page into cache.
