Reflection on my Experience in Nature of Science FPLC

The realization that after one year of discussion of understanding the nature of science, teaching pedagogy, and how to connect our students to a base understanding, my own learning was enhanced-and I gained a better understanding of the different approaches taken by each discipline. I like to use the hypothesis example as one that explains how you can spend an entire year discussing teaching and learning, and scientific principles, only to go back to basics and find that the sciences approach something as common as "hypothesis" from different perspectives. Not that it is defined differently, but how it is applied in different ways in different sciences-that was a revelation to me-and beneficial when I teach scientific principles to my students.
