Project Timeline

New Employee Orientation was revised during the Spring of 2006 with the help of an Organizational Process Analyst (Andy Lenartz) from the District Office, Human Resources staff(Linda Canez & Luanne Patterson) and the Employee Developer from the CTL (Laura Ballard.

Current Status

It is currently implemented and scheduled to run twice a semester on the last Wednesday of the month for August and September in the Fall and January and February in the Spring.

Future Directions

New Employee Orientation should be evaluated each semester in order to determine if it's meeting the ever-changing needs of the new employees. Annually, during the summer, the curriculum should be analyzed to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate. Each presenter should be contacted by the Employee Developer in order to determine that their materials are current and that any necessary changes are made prior to the orientation.
