Project Summary:The CTLpedia Survey Project page documents data gathering methods, tools, and processes used by the CTL to gather usage, improvement and service needs data.

Project Goals

Relation to CTL Department Plan Initiatives

Because data gathered from the CTL Survey inform all that we do in the CTL, the Survey project relates to all of the CTL Department Plan Initiatives.

Project Timeline

  • Spring 2005 - CTL Needs Survey distributed to all MCC employees
  • Spring 2007 - Faculty Survey distributed to all MCC adjunct and residential faculty

Current Status

  • Spring 2007 survey was administered, data collected, and results shared.

Future Directions

  • Future directions include regular administration of a CTL Survey (at most every two years). Next survey administration (according to this schedule) would be spring 2009).

  • CTL staff time was required to upload the survey to the web
  • CTL staff time was required to advertise survey availability to faculty
  • CTL staff time was required to analyze, synthesize, summarize, and publicize collected data
