Project Summary: The CTL Website is the online face of the CTL. It offers a medium to distribute help documents, allow people to register for workshops, and provide general resources and information.

The CTL website is supported and served by the CTL. Primary contact is James Bowles, but several staff members can assist with questions. You may visit the CTL homepage at http://ctl.mc.maricopa.edu/

Project Staff

  • Timothy Luukkonen originally designed and developed the CTL Website
  • James Bowles currently maintains and updates the design of the CTL website.
  • Martin Lehner administers the server where the CTL website resides.

Project Timeline

  • Project was initiated in 2004 Timothy Luukkonen.
  • Luukkonen Designed and Developed the CTL website using the latest in web standards.
  • In early 2005, Luukkonen bundled the website into a distributable package for Mesa Community College.
  • In summer of 2005 James Bowles began maintenance of the CTL website.
  • Throughout the course of time and with the use of a tool created by http://crazyegg.com the navigational schematics have been modified and adapted several times to increase usability.
  • In March 2007, a new navigational scheme was implemented for increased usability and simpler maintenance.

Project Resources

  • Staff time has been required to design, develop, and maintain the CTL website and server it resides on.
  • Sever space has been required for the CTL website.

Project Outcomes and Future Directions

The CTL website is a continually changing entity. It will be adapted to showcase the latest in web technology throughout the course of time.
